The Blueshirts are back in action following Saturday’s victory over the St. Louis Blues. The second game following the trade deadline will come against the New Jersey Devils, and Peter Laviolette’s squad will look to earn its third win in as many games and wrap up the season series against its Hudson River rival.
The Devils and Rangers have already played twice at the Prudential Center in Newark, where the best hockey that arena has seen this year took place last Monday during the NJSIAA state finals games. Madison Square Garden will be the scene for the final two meetings of the season as the Rangers continue their march towards the playoffs, and the Devils continue their match towards the golf course for the early summers they usually enjoy.
