The trade deadline has come and gone, and the pre-dreadline New York Rangers are no more. Chris Drury executed four trades in the days following Monday’s loss to the Florida Panthers. While none of the previous roster players were shipped out of town, three new faces have joined the NHL roster, and two of those players are expected to make their Rangers’ debuts tonight.
Those debuts will come against the St. Louis Blues, a team the Rangers had done business with in years past before opting against any trades with them this season. There were murmurs of a potential reunion between Pavel Buchnevich and the Rangers, but Buchnevich stayed put and will be skating against New York tonight.
