The Rangers are back at it tonight in DC, fresh off their loss to the Devils. I know you may think this game thread is premature, but believe it or not the Rangers are allowed to play twice in the same week. I know, I’m just as surprised as you are. As for their opponent, the Caps have actually played a few games, twice as many as the Rangers.
The standings are still a jumbled mess, but the Caps are expected to be in the thick of things once March rolls around. The Rangers…not so much.
