After a week and a half off for All-Star weekend in St. Louis, the Rangers are back in action tonight. The Blueshirts lost their final game prior to the break against the Islanders, and they’ll look to get back on track over the next two nights with a home and home with the Detroit Red Wings. These two Original Six foes will square off at Madison Square Garden tonight, followed by a meeting at Little Caesar’s Arena in Detroit tomorrow evening.
After a less than stellar first half, David Quinn’s squad currently finds itself eleven points out of the final Wild Card playoff spot currently occupied by Carolina.
