David Quinn’s squad is heading out to Uniondale to take on the new look Islanders, as the their in-state rivals have loaded up on rental players in pursuit of their first division title since the 1987-88 campaign.
In exchange for a package of four assets headlined by their first round selection in the upcoming Entry Draft, the Islanders acquired Kyle Palmieri and Travis Zajac from the New Jersey Devils in an attempt to shore up their forward depth.
