Another weekend matinee is on tap for the Rangers, as the team will be looking to bounce back from yesterday’s defeat in Philadelphia with a stronger effort against the Washington Capitals. As the team embarks on a journey into the post-Brendan Lemieux era, it’ll be up to the rest of the team to fill the void Lemieux has left. As one of New York’s most effective agitators, and a regular presence in the bottom six since arriving on Broadway two years ago, only a handful of players currently on the roster could fill Lemieux’s role.
Player to Watch: Ryan Lindgren
Of all the players remaining on New York’s roster, Lindgren is one of few capable of providing some of the snarl that Lemieux did.
