Earlier today I wrote on the importance of Brendan Lemieux to the future success of the Rangers. In the post I noted that I reached out to 4SportsWorld for an update on contract negotiations. Claude Lemieux, Brendan’s father and agent returned my request and provided the following update.
“I have had a few conversations with the Rangers management team but I can’t say that we are close to signing a new contract.” I also wanted Claude’s perspective on his son playing in one of the NHL’s best rivalries.
