Going into tonight’s game at Madison Square Garden, the New York Rangers are one of two teams without a point and lead the league with three losses. The team is coming off a game where the offense woke up, but the defense took the night off.
The Rangers will be making some lineup changes. Coach David Quinn will revert to the 12 forward, six defense alignment. It appears that Kevin Shattenkirk will sit out this game after a poor effort in Raleigh. Fredrik Claesson may make his first appearance of the season and Tony DeAngelo will get another look after a strong performance in Carolina.
