Here’s a look at how the Rangers and Lightning match up for the Eastern Conference finals:
FORWARDS
For the third series in a row, the Rangers’ opponent will have the most explosive offensive player. This one is Steven Stamkos, following Alex Ovechkin, following Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin.
But the Rangers shut down Crosby and Malkin, and they contained Ovechkin, who had no points in Games 3, 4, 5 and 6.
