Dominic Moore, J.T. Miller benched as Rangers scapegoats

So Dominic Moore and Jesper Fast — the Rangers’ putative and struggling first penalty-kill tandem — were on the ice for Patric Hornqvist’s power-play score from below the goal line at 11:56 of the first period that gave the Penguins a 1-0 lead in Pittsburgh’s 5-3 victory at the Garden on Sunday afternoon.

Moore not only did not get on the ice for the Penguins’ next two man-advantages (both killed), but the veteran center did not get on at all after the 12:47 mark of the second period. Fast continued in his regular rotation.

“I don’t know why,” Moore told The Post.
