The NJ Devils Director of Amateur Scouting Paul Castron may have tipped his hand as too who they may be selecting at the draft.
Everyone is aware that Kaapo Kakko is tearing it up at the World Championships. On the flip side, Jack Hughes is playing well but getting limited ice time in favor of established NHL vets. As far as Castron is concerned no one should put too much weight on this one tournament.
“I wouldn’t put too much stock into it,” said Castron, adding that the body of work is the most important thing to examine when it comes to the two players.
