It has officially gotten ugly in Rangerstown.
After two disappointing and ugly losses against the Pittsburgh Penguins and Colorado Avalanche, the Rangers were dominated again losing 5-0 to the Arizona Coyotes Sunday.
There was never a time in this game where you could say the Rangers showed signs of life. Arizona dominated play from the second the first puck was dropped. Their forecheck at times was too much for New York to handle as Arizona outshot New York 33-14 through the first 40 minutes.
All of that resulted in five goals against Henrik Lundqvist, who would be pulled after allowing five goals on 32 shots.
