Every New York Rangers fan has heard of Scott Hartnell. After starting his NHL career with the Nashville Predators in 2000, Hartnell spent seven seasons with the Philadelphia Flyers, becoming the one of the opposition’s must hated players.
In 517 games with the Flyers over those seasons, the 6-foot-2 wing scored 157 and 169 assists for 326 points and tormented the Rangers as well. The Flyers dealt Hartnell to the Blue Jackets. After three productive years in Columbus, the team bought him out and he signed a one-year deal with the Predators.
Last season, Hartnell was decent.
