Chris Kreider wanted to go first and he set the tempo for an exciting skills competition. Sadly, he finished as the 3rd fastest skater with the Islanders Matthew Barzal taking the top spot.
Replacing Artemi Panarin, Chris Kreider was selected to represent the Rangers in the 2020 NHL All Star Game. Kreider was selected to participate in the Fastest Skater competition and finished third, behind Connor McDavid and Mathew Barzal, clocking in at 13.509.
Kreider was also one of the shooters for the Metropolitan Division during the Save Streak competition but did not put one past a goaltender.
