Pavelec wanted to pay tribute to his music idol, Bruce Springsteen, with his new mask. With Springsteen being from the New Jersey/New York area and Pavelec a member of the New York Rangers, it’s perfect timing for Pavelec go with this new style.
The mask has images of Springsteen playing at various points in time while still having the classic Rangers colors.
