SUNRISE, Fla. – One week after he committed an embarrassing goof that led to a goal by Montreal with 6.4 seconds left in the first period in a 5-2 loss, Brady Skjei was back in the Rangers’ lineup Saturday night against the Panthers.
“You take some time off, you definitely sit back and you regroup, mentally,’’ said Skjei, who was a healthy scratch last Sunday, when the Rangers lost to the Winnipeg Jets, 4-3, in a shootout. “I feel I’m in a good mindset right now. I know what I need to do to get back to my game, and I don’t need to do it all in one game.
