The NHL won’t be doing an awards show this year, so they are releasing award winners throughout the month. The key award for the Rangers is Adam Fox and the Norris, but that doesn’t mean we won’t have pleasant surprises elsewhere. Artemiy Panarin finished 5th in the Lady Byng voting.
The Lady Byng is awarded to the “player adjudged to have exhibited the best type of sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct combined with a high standard of playing ability.” Jaccob Slavin won the award by a land slide, with Jared Spurgeon, Auston Matthews, and Aleksander Barkov finishing ahead of Panarin in the voting.
