Artem Anisimov, Blackhawks end Rangers’ winning streak at six

CHICAGO — Former Ranger Artem Anisimov’s hat trick in the third period — the first of his career — helped the Blackhawks snap the Rangers’ season-high six game winning streak with a 6-3 victory on Wednesday.

With three goals in the first 5:15 of the third period, the Blackhawks broke open a 1-1 game at United Center and held on until Anisimov tipped a pass over Ondrej Pavelec, who had relieved Henrik Lundqvist, for a 5-3 advantage and Jonathan Toews added an empty-netter.

With the score tied at 1 after a late Hawks goal with 52 seconds left in the second, a flurry of goals dotted the third period.
