Among the many issues in recent seasons facing the New York Rangers has been the position of center.
In year’s past, it seems the team has had a revolving door or players trying to solidify their place on the team at the position, but few have grabbed hold.
Players such as Brad Richards and Brian Boyle immediately come to mind. And yes, without these players the Rangers would not have gotten to the Cup Final two seasons ago.
However, I never got the feeling they had a solid core down the middle. One, where each line’s center posed a strong viable threat.
