As expected, Erik Karlsson won the Norris Trophy yesterday. This wasn’t a surprise, as he pt up 25 goals and 101 points in what can only be called a revival season for the 33 year old defenseman. He’s just the 15th defenseman in history and the first defenseman since Brian Leetch in 1991-1992 to accomplish the feat. That’s Norris worthy, even if you think he “doesn’t play defense.”
What was surprising was Adam Fox finishing second in Norris voting.
