Within three months, Adam Fox went from being a junior defenseman at Harvard, to having his professional rights traded for the second time, to turning pro, to signing a contract with the Rangers, the team he grew up rooting for, to playing for Team USA in the men’s World Championship in Slovakia, to now showing up for development camp this week in Stamford, Conn., along with a handful of other hopefuls in an organization now stocked with them.
It’s been quite the ride for the Long Island native, who has set his sights on having a good enough summer that he can show up to training camp in September and do what the organization hopes he can do — make the opening-night roster.
