The Rangers came off their mini-vacation ready to play. Their first period was as good a period as they have played all season, but they fell back into their bad habits and it was roller coaster ride starting with the second period. They blew a two goal lead and allowed the Panthers to tied the game three times They survived a scary overtime with Henrik Lundqvist coming up big and they had a goal overturned with seconds left in the OT. The King stood tall in the shootout, all three Rangers scored and it was a two point game.
