The Rangers have selected defenseman Sean Day with their third round pick, #81 overall. Day is a big kid at 6’2″, 224 lbs at just 18 years old. But don’t let his size fool you, Day is one of the best skaters in the draft and is a potential home run pick for the Rangers. Day’s a very good puck mover, and as mentioned a great skater with huge potential.

There seem to be some concerns about his compete level, but this is a great risk taken by the Rangers.
