The New York Rangers have the No. 21 pick in tonight's NHL Draft, and have also acquired the No. 7 pick in a trade with the Arizona Coyotes.
OFFICIAL: #NYR acquired d-man Anthony DeAngelo and the 7th pick in the 2017 Draft from Arizona in exchange for Derek Stepan & Antti Raanta.

DeAngelo, the No. 19 overall pick in the 2014 draft, made his NHL debut this season as a 21-year-old. He recorded five goals and nine assists in 34 games for the Coyotes.
Arizona needed a goalie after they traded Mike Smith to the Flames, which is why they insisted on Antti Raanta being included in the deal. He went 16-8-2 with a 2.26 GAA and .922 save percentage last season. Stepan was the biggest name included in the deal, and New York will have to replace his 55 points.
In ESPN's latest mock draft, they have the Rangers taking center Martin Necas with the No. 7 pick.
