Harold Castro, the SeaWolves' No. 9 hitter, picked up the team's lone hit when he ripped a double in the third inning. But Ynoa promptly forced Wynton Bernard to groundout to first, and then retired 18 of the next 19 batters, with a fielding error by No. 7 prospect Gavin Cecchini accounting for Erie's only other runner.
Signed out of the Dominican Republic more than five years ago, Ynoa went 26-8 in 2013 and 2014 combined. He is 5-5 with a 4.12 ERA in 14 starts this season.
