David Wright is learning not to test his limits while dealing with spinal stenosis, he told Marc Carig of Newsday.
After playing in his fourth straight games last month, during what he referred to as a "borderline" day in terms of how his back felt, Wright literally couldn't stand up the next day for more than a few minutes at a time.
"It just wasn't good," Wright told Carig. "I learned right then that if I tried to do this during the whole course of the year, I'm not making it. It's just not happening.
