David Wright is still only taking ground balls and not throwing, Mets manager Terry Collins told reporters Tuesday in St. Lucie.
"I don't know if he's in the cage yet, but I know he's been running and taking ground balls," he added. "But that is something that he's got to keep doing, because when the arm comes, the legs will be under him."
In early March, MetsBlog's Matthew Cerrone said it might not be until the end of the month, and after another exam, before Wright is able to stand at third base and throw a baseball across the diamond.
