David Wright, who went on the disabled list with a hamstring injury and was then diagnosed with spinal stenosis, could be back at the All-Star break, according to Sandy Alderson.
The Mets GM told NJ.com that he's "looking at probably the All-Star break as a realistic possibility" to have the third baseman back with the team.
"What I try to (do) is look at the next benchmarks," Alderson said at the VA Hospital in Brooklyn. "What are the benchmarks? One of them is, say, the first of July. We're in the middle of June right now.
