Flores initially missed time due to a sore neck. However, he was unavailable Wednesday due to a sore wrist, which was injured this past weekend on the same play as his neck.

Flores had X-rays on his right wrist in Atlanta, which were negative. He'll be examined by a doctor in New York on Thursday.

Flores slid headfirst into Braves catcher A.J. Pierzynski during the game on Saturday, Sept. 10, which appeared to cause a significant impact to his head and shoulders.

He later told reporters he felt dizzy when walking off the field.
