Wilmer Flores leaves Sunday's game with lower back soreness

Mets 3B Todd Frazier (hamstring strain) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Las Vegas within the next few days, the Mets announced on Sunday.

Frazier, who has been on the disabled list since May 8, took batting practice Monday for the first time since the injury. He hit again on Wednesday and ran on the field on Thursday.

Frazier had played through the hamstring injury for several weeks before he was placed on the DL. He was hitting .313 on April 16, but was hitting .167/.192/.292 in six games in May.
