WASHINGTON -- During a nightmare first inning for the Mets on Tuesday, infielder Wilmer Flores left their game against the Nationals due to dizziness and dehydration.
Starting at first base, Flores doubled in his lone at-bat in the top of the first inning. He was then unable to field two ground balls in his general direction in the bottom of the inning. With one out and the Nationals stringing together an extended rally, Phillip Evans replaced Flores at first.
