KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Thor is ready, make no mistake about that.
The Mets are down 0-2 in the World Series after Wednesday night’s 7-1 wipeout at the hands of the Royals at Kauffman Stadium.
Now the weight of the Mets’ world is on rookie Noah Syndergaard’s shoulders.
At 6-foot-6, 240 pounds, he’s big enough to carry the load. He will not shy away from the challenge.
“I’m really excited about Friday’s start,’’ he told The Post in the quiet of the Mets clubhouse.
Then his next comment said all you needed to know about his approach:
