NEW YORK — There were plenty of weird moments in the Mets' 6-5 win over the Phillies on Tuesday.
One of the more bizarre instances of the game occurred when the Mets attempted to challenge a call that the Phillies' Freddy Galvis was hit by a pitch with two outs in the top of the third inning.
But by the time the Mets tried to challenge the ruling on the field, Matt Harvey had seemingly returned to the mound and the next batter, Chase Utley, had stepped into the batter's box.
