Where Three Is A Bounty

It must be absolutely grueling for Mets starting pitchers to know that they have to be damn near perfect to get a win these days. Not that there’s any anger between pitchers and hitters. But to know that there’s probably going to be no margin for error every game has to be an added layer of “grind” when it comes to the pitchers. But give everyone on that starting staff credit. Because not only do they have that in their minds, the top pitchers have that extra incentive/pressure of living up to being one of the best rotations in baseball, and the bottom of the rotation have the extra incentive/pressure of having Noah Syndergaard and Steven Matz ready to take over after a few bad outings … and bad to this staff is merely being mediocre.
