Wheeler's innings limit to be around 125

RHP Zack Wheeler's innings limit will be roughly 125, GM Sandy Alderson said Monday on the MLB Network.

Pitching coach Dan Warthen suggested earlier during Spring Training that Wheeler's innings limit would be in the low-100s.

Wheeler made his Grapefruit League debut this past Friday, allowing one run in two innings while reaching 94 MPH with his fastball.

He hasn't pitched in the majors since 2014 due to Tommy John surgery and rehab setbacks. Wheeler dealt with some elbow soreness earlier during Spring Training, which was reportedly caused by scar tissue remaining from his Tommy John surgery.
