Logan Verrett (3-0, 1.27 ERA) makes his third start of the year in place of Steven Matz, who is being skipped due to a a sore forearm. Eddie Butler starts for Colorado (1-1, 3.86 ERA).
I look forward to watching Verrett, who has not allowed a run in 12 innings, while striking out 10 batters, during two fill-in starts for the Mets this season. Otherwise, he's also been pretty good out of the bullpen, from where he's 2-0 with a 2.
