What it was like to be cursed out and threatened by Mets

He really was just indicating that he would see Mickey Callaway on Monday.

Newsday reporter Tim Healey gave his perspective of the Mets’ clubhouse fiasco that saw manager Mickey Callaway curse him out and starting pitcher Jason Vargas threaten him.

“Mickey came out of his office, dressed, and I thought he was leaving for the day, so I said, ‘See you tomorrow, Mickey.’ And then he said, ‘Don’t be a smart-a–,” said Healey, noting to his paper that he was told by other reporters that Callaway continued to curse at him after he walked away.
