In his first start as a Met yesterday—and first major league start since 2018—Clay Holmes was just alright. The Astros scored three runs against him, two of them earned, in four-and-two-thirds innings. He threw 89 pitches, 53 of them for strikes, and struck out four while issuing four walks.
