The Mets officially announced their 15-year, $765 million deal with Juan Soto yesterday after he passed his physical, and the team is set to introduce him publicly at a press conference at 3 PM EST today at Citi Field. Soto is coming off a 2024 season with the Yankees that saw him hit .288/.419/.569 with 41 home runs and a 180 wRC+, the best single-season mark in his career in a full-length major league season.
