NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Comedian Jim Breuer has been documenting the Mets’ season since it began, his social media posts becoming a sensation.
So the former “Saturday Night Live” cast member was naturally glued to his television on Thursday night when the Mets defeated the Dodgers in Game 5 of the National League Division Series.
Breuer posted his reaction on Facebook, and it was nothing short of epic.
“Come on Jeurys, come on!” he yelled at the Mets’ closer before the final out was recorded.
When Familia struck out Howie Kendrick to clinch the series and advance the Mets to the National League Championship Series against the Cubs, the actor screamed with delight and began pumping his fists.
