PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- Outfielder Roger Bernadina will be delayed arriving at New York Mets camp because of a visa issue.
Bernadina, a native of Curacao, is the lone player who will not arrive on time.
Mets position players officially report Wednesday. The first full-squad workout is Friday.
Bernadina, 31, signed a minor league contract with the Mets on Feb. 8.
He has appeared in 548 games in the majors during seven seasons, primarily with the Washington Nationals. He hit .276 with 15 home runs and 62 RBIs in 373 at-bats with Triple-A Albuquerque, a Colorado Rockies affiliate, in 2015.
