By now you’ve already seen and/or heard about that crazy play in Thursday night’s Mets-Phillies game. In the 10th inning, Jeff Francoeur hit a comebacker to Carlos Torres. Has was able to get his foot on the ball, and it ricocheted to Daniel Murphy. He made a great play on it, and was able to flip it to Torres, who beat Francoeur to the bag. It was immediately dubbed the play of the year, and with good reason. But don’t take my word for it — watch it again and again.
