PHILADELPHIA -- After missing four months with a serious back condition, David Wright made sure that everyone knew he was back Monday, especially the fans in the upper deck at Citizens Bank Ballpark.
The Mets third baseman blasted a long home run into the upper deck in left field in his first at-bat back from the disabled list with lumbar spinal stenosis.
Wright, who was introduced pregame with a picture of utility infielder Kelly Johnson, crushed a 1-1 pitch Phillies left-hander Adam Morgan.
