We may as well start with the elephant in the room:
You are a Mets fan, and so you probably don’t know how to feel about Brodie Van Wagenen because you DO know how you feel about the men who hired him. You want to take a leap of faith that Van Wagenen’s tremendous success as an agent at CAA will translate to similar results in the NL East, but the Wilpons have soured your trust across too man lousy seasons, too many starts, too many stops.
That will always be the Wilpons’ biggest challenge until it isn’t.
