The Mets’ rotation has endured a ton of upheaval over the past several years, with starting pitchers—be they future Hall of Famers, mediocre journeymen, and everything in-between—cycling in and out of the rotation like they’re Pete Davidson’s girlfriends. Through the yearly upheaval, there have been two guys who have been consistent in their presence in the rotation—if not in their performance. The first is David Peterson, whom Vasilis Drimalitis has already discussed recently. The second is Tylor Megill, whom—for the fifth straight season—figures to be an important factor in the team’s starting pitching depth this year.
