Two in-season arrivals are among the players the Mets have received recent trade interest in, according to an industry source.
Jose Bautista and Devin Mesoraco, who are both free agents after this season, could be moved by the July 31 non-waiver trade deadline.
The veteran outfielder Bautista was grabbed from the scrap heap in May for the major league minimum, possibly making him the easier to trade of the two players. Bautista entered Monday with a .781 OPS overall this season.
