First baseman Lucas Duda exited in the fifth inning of Wednesday’s 5-4 win over the Phillies with a hyperextended left elbow sustained on a play at first base. Catcher Travis d’Arnaud left after the sixth inning with a right wrist contusion when he banged his hand making a throw to second.
“Duda’s got a hyperextended elbow. I guess his range of motion was pretty good afterward. They did some treatment on it. I’ve seen how in the past they can be serious.
