Todd Zeile — a former Yankee and Met, and current SNY commentator who is working in the booth during Mets games to fill in for Ron Darling — takes a swing at some Q&A with Post columnist Steve Serby.
Q: You and Aaron Boone were both on the 2003 Yankees squad. What was he like as a teammate?
A: Short-lived. Aaron coming in was kind of the writing on the wall for Robin [Ventura] and myself. I have great respect for the way he’s handled himself as the manager of the Yankees.
