Todd Frazier to begin rehab assignment with Triple-A Las Vegas

The Mets haven't decided if LHP Jason Vargas will make his next scheduled start, assistant GM John Ricco said prior to Sunday's game.

"We are continuing to talk about a lot of different options," Ricco said. "I don't think any decisions have been made yet."

Unless Vargas has an injury, the options are either sending him to the bullpen, sending him to the minors (which he has the right to refuse), or skipping his next rotation turn. Vargas is scheduled to next start on May 31 against the Cubs at Citi Field...
