Tim Tebow has struggled with the Syracuse Mets, but this could be a new low.
Tebow, who is hitting .156 with the Mets’ Triple-A squad, struck out looking against Jordan Peterson, a position player, during the team’s 16-2 blowout win over the host Buffalo Bisons on Tuesday night. Tebow looked like he didn’t think the pitch was a strike.
According to the Bisons Twitter account, Peterson, who plays outfield and first base, struck out Tebow on an 88 mile-per-hour fastball on the black.
Tebow, who has surpassed expectations of many by reaching the Triple-A level, said he believes he has been making improvements.
